Yes! We’ve created these scissors to be a solve-all for gift wrapping. They will trim both your wrapping paper and ribbons beautifully! 

Based off of traditional tailors scissors, they actually make a great option for cutting through fabric too.

Yes! With proper care you can get a lifetime of use out of these scissors. Some ways to optimise the life of your scissors are:

• Take them to your local knife sharpener for upkeep.
• If you find a bit of build up on the blade (this tends to be a result of cutting through sticky tape) you can disassemble them and give them a clean.
• Try keeping a devoted pair for each function i.e. Keep one pair of scissors for paper and one pair for ribbons. This way the wear of the blade will be consistent and gradual.

A number of our team and customers are left-handed and have reported back to us that very much enjoy using the golden scissors!

The only non-symmetrical part of the design is in the thumb grip, which does favour the right handed side slightly in terms of comfort. 

Also! We are working on creating a left-handed version of these however it's taking time. In the meantime, if you're left handed & you'd like to give these a try, place and order, let our team know you're left handed and if you don't like them, simply send them back and we'll give you a full refund.
