"When you’re busy, it can be hard to sit down and plan regularly because you have SO much to plan. For some of us, this is a natural response, we don’t mind sitting down and planning because it keeps us on track, for others (me) planning is just another task on the top of the endless list of things to do. This is where bulk planning will change your life. Bulk planning is simply the act of scheduling as MUCH as you can, in one planning session.. but less frequently.

What works for me is each school holidays, I sit down with a beverage, my phone and allll of the pieces of paper school has sent me and I write out as MUCH as I possibly can for the following 3 months. I’m talking uniforms, homework, birthdays, dinners I’ve already added to my phone, anything at all that resembles a plan. It’s basically a brain dump session but planning themed.. but for some reason, it works!"
