The Story
Colaba & Co. was established by Lynda & Steve, originally from Newcastle Australia, in the first year of them living in Mumbai, India. Whilst there, they discovered the incredibly skilled leather artisans of the Dharavi slum community. Colaba & Co. have had the exciting opportunity to provide employment to Mothers within the slum, some of whom are being employed for the first time. When you purchase a Colaba & Co. product, you not only receive some of the finest leather products available, but you invest into lives, artists and mothers.

Leather Care
A much loved feature of the 'antique brown' leather is found in how it ages and wears with time. If you prefer a 'cleaner' look you can try massaging olive oil into the leather to out some of the marks.

Genuine leather comes with natural occuring variance from piece to piece. With this, each piece will differ slightly in colour and display its own characteristics over time and according to the unqiue hyde material used.
